
BUSIIKA, WAKISO DISTRICT — Extreme Adventure Park ignited joy and mobility this World Down Syndrome Day by sponsoring and donating 10 vital wheelchairs to children with Down syndrome. This life-changing initiative was spearheaded by Blessing Maama Foundation, working closely with Bugema Hospital’s essential monthly camp, where children receive crucial health check-ups.
Extreme Adventure Park opened its doors to families celebrating World Down Syndrome Day, hosting a special event. The atmosphere was filled with smiles and joy. Recognizing a profound opportunity to provide tangible support, Extreme Adventure Park, in collaboration with Blessing Maama Foundation, stepped forward to make a significant difference.
“We are incredibly thankful to Extreme Adventure Park for their generosity,” expressed a representative from Bugema Hospital. “These wheelchairs will significantly improve the quality of life for these children and their families.”
In December 2024, the wheelchairs were officially presented during a special event organized by Blessing Maama Foundation at Bugema Hospital’s monthly camp, directly reaching those who needed them most. The camp provides essential health check-ups and unwavering support for children with Down syndrome and their families.
